Re: Why is there games on Anzac Day
Have to say..... My club is going to struggle because of playing on the ANZAC weekend :( The rep for the club didn't argue against it but in fairness, wouldn't have known it was an issue back in Jan or Feb... Its the 100th Anniversary and we have a number of guys from the Woodside barracks who will ...

Re: CSL Cup Rd 1
The format is always a point of discussion and maybe there is a difference (or indifference) between players and the club reps? I for one enjoy the games against higher grade teams.. we lost 10-0 and ended up with 9 players on the pitch (all injures before anyone gets excited) BUT we had a game, got...

Re: Paying players
There's a lot of speculation about players and payments but I would be gobsmacked if any CSL club offered money beyond the usual (and nothing wrong with) offering reduced / free fee's for the season. There a few raw nerves around on the subject but we should keep it to ourselves and not be posting o...

Re: Paying players
Needs to be considered / a stance taken on it as soon as possible as paying AMATEURS is the a huge speed bump for the game and the clubs.... Players already move from CSL to Fed teams for a few dollars (which is in the FFSA rules in fairness) but once we start to pay within the CSl and other similar...

Re: div 2
Don't think capping clubs would solve the root cause here.... I know at our club, any players that were 'cut' due to a cap wouldn't go to another CSL club and even if they did they would be players that couldn't make the top 5 teams (in your capped scenario) ...creating new 2 club teams with a weak ...

Re: div 2
North City and Regency have combined was what i heard... If so, they will be strong if they work the arrangement out! 7 teams is not good but St Pauls, WG and Scotch all only have 1 team and the CSL have had this on notice for at least 2 years now! Not perfect with 7 teams but not sure how to fix it...

Re: Finals 2014
No funny goings on really...just two very competitive sides, clubs and fans who both were passionate AND desperate to take home the prize. Both sides brought a ton of fans to the game who were both noisy and created a good atmosphere (although a few of the players on both sides copped a fair amount ...

Heard a child below the age of 7 called the Unley president a C U N T...... Class barker, real class Irony in your post.... Class on a forum or a bit of sour grapes ? Get over the result and what was a tight game until the last 20 of extra time. It was legs that won it in the end with both sides mi...
