Windsor to Win the Cup !

Windsor gardens took out the pre-season cup put on by Salisbury Villa. Windsor beat Rostrevor A's 3-2 in the final beating Salisbury Villa and Adelaide Blue Eagles amateurs along the way. Great result for WGOS considering a number of thier starters have been sidelined with injury.

Quite off the topic, I remember once that the CSL was flogged for being SA's least competitive team.

Funny enough Windsor, Rostrevor A's, Salisbury VIlla and Adelaide Blue Eagle Amateurs are playing in a pre-season cup.

Yes there was only one player sent off by the Ref. This goes back to me previous post of what a pathetic disgrace the referee is. But apparently 2 of Windsor players were additionally red carded, one was subbed off with an injury and the other didn't even play. GET THIS REF OFF THE CSL BOOKS - HE IS...

The league shouldn't force Windsor, they aren't a 1A Division side. They are a bunch of old chest nuts. Better to get some younger teams in there. Still a good team, but not Div 1A material.

Well done to Mount Barker - pushed Windsor all the way and got the result they were after. Windsor had two chances to win it in sudden death but their keeper pulled off two terrific saves to keep them in it. Not sure what has exactly gone "Windsor's way" over the past few years but if you are beating around the bush on the whole Div 1 promotion thing - that is actually the CSL's decision.

Yes, the game will be a corker, but if its being played on the Windsor pitch then expect a 0-0 mud bath.

Exactly my point Simmo .The CSL specifically allocated this Saturday to play catch up games across the league. Mt Barker are saying they are unavailable but knew weeks in advance that this is most probably the day they would play the cup rematch. Now Windsor are forced to play a midweek game under l...
